“Migrating colored rain” by Beth Rivest

Migrating colored rain

preferring to keep to itself
separate from oil
dead
yet a life block
it permeates
innovates
roving Mars in search of
desalinate

Is Water the classist system
transpiration
tolerant
like moss is to dehydration

Needing it clean
up, over, down, and through
balancing the transport
polarizing
equalizing
residual roots on the move
