The salty, glacial water of Southeast is both merciful and merciless
It can gently caress you,
carrying you down the channel as you bask under the sun
And in the same day,
it can take the lives of many through a furious storm
It has taught me how to use my sensitivity,
when to be tender,
to be soft with someones heart
And when to be fierce,
to respond with dangerous ferocity
and an icy exterior
But if I have learned anything at all,
It’s that salt water is a force to be reckoned with
And so am I
