“Why” by Kat Rhoads

Why doesn’t anybody think what I think?
Why doesn’t anybody feel what I feel?
Why, when waves crash against my face, my mouth is bone dry?
Why can I say it now but not when the wave multiplies?
Why,
Why,
Why.
Why should not be a question that is not yet answered.

Why is the ocean across the world seen differently?
Why is one a darker or lighter shade and depth?
Why are they separated?
Why can’t they just blend together? Live together? Breath together?
Why,
Why,
Why.
Why should not be a question that is not yet answered.
