The Renewable Energy Fund (REF) is the state’s go-to funding source for developing new renewable energy projects, and it’s up for renewal. Jodi Mitchel, Inside Passage Electric Cooperative CEO, will speak to the impact of REF on her communities.
The Green Bank could be the state’s new hub for clean energy technology and financing, helping communities make the switch to 100% renewable power, and help adopt the technologies to use that power once it’s available. Donovan Russionello of the Renewable Energy Alaska Project, will outline the opportunities an Alaskan Green Bank provides.
