Southeast Alaska Conservation Council will be hosting a Town Hall listening session on April 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at ANB/ANS Camp 14 Meeting Hall, 429 Deermount. SEACC staff and community leaders will facilitate conversations, interactive mapping activities, and opportunities to share priorities on important topics like young growth forest management and climate change.
On Monday evening, May 2, we’re taking over The Craig Inn Bar (403 Water Street) starting at 6 p.m. for a Southeast Alaska Trivia night! The winner earns a bag of SEACC swag and a drink on us.
On Tuesday evening, May 3, we will be holding a Town Hall Listening Session at the Craig Tribal Hall (1330 Craig-Klawock Highway). The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. We’ll have food, a town hall-style Q&A, and interactive booths where you can let SEACC know what your highest priorities for the Tongass are.

Join us for a Community Cleanup, hosted by SEACC Climate Intern and Angoon resident Samara Kasayulie-Kookesh. Meet at the Angoon Landfill on Sat., July 23 @ 1 p.m. Food will be provided at the Angoon Elementary School gym (500 Big Dog Salmon Way) at 6 p.m. Free! We hope to see you there!
Check out the Climate Fair for a Cool Planet from 3 to 5 p.m. at Overstreet Park. This free event offers opportunities to learn about the climate movement, take action, and eat ice cream from Coppa. SEACC will be there so be sure to swing by our table and say hi!
