  • August Bonfire — Juneau

    Join us for our last bonfire of the season on Thursday, August 18, from 6  to 8 p.m. at the Auke Recreation Area’s Yéil/Raven Shelter in Juneau. We’re looking forward to catching up with the community and talking about the issues important to you! Snacks and beverages will be provided, but feel free to bring your own as well (no glass bottles please). We can’t wait to see you there!

  • SEACC Tongass Social — Meet and Greet with Maranda Hamme (Juneau)

    Come stop by Amalga Distillery on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., to meet our Tongass Forest Program Manager, Maranda Hamme! Maranda lives on Prince of Wales. She’s been traveling around Southeast this summer for SEACC, but this will be her first time getting to meet some of our Juneau-based supporters. She’ll be joined by several of our Juneau-based staff members. Our table will have a small sign with our name on it, and our team will have some SEACC merch and name tags on.

  • UAS Campus Kickoff — Juneau

    SEACC will be at UAS Campus Kickoff in Juneau on Sept. 2 from 3 to 5 p.m. Stop by the SEACC table to learn about current action items, grab some free stickers, and discuss Southeast issues!

  • Community Potluck — POW

    Craig Tribal Hall 1330 Craig-Klawock Highway, Craig, AK, United States

    SEACC will be hosting a potluck — our first one in a long time — on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Craig Tribal Hall. Our staff and board will be in town that week for a retreat, and almost all of us will be in attendance at the potluck. The potluck will be open to the public, so feel free to bring along friends and family. We will be providing food to share, but guests are invited to bring any dishes and/or drinks that they would like.

  • Community Potluck — Sitka

    SEACC will be hosting a potluck in Sitka on Wednesday, Nov. 2. We'll be in town for Whalefest that weekend, and we can't wait to see everyone! We'll have some food, but feel free to bring any dishes, desserts, sides or drinks to share too — and make sure to invite your family and friends! If you can't catch us at the potluck, make sure to stop by our table at Whalefest that weekend.

  • Juneau’s COP27 Meetup

    Overstreet Park (The Whale) Harris Harbor Way, Juneau

    Climate-oriented groups in Juneau — WECAN, 350 Juneau, AYEA, and SEACC — will be holding a local event during the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) to address how they are combatting the climate crisis in Southeast Alaska. The Juneau COP27 Meetup will happen at Overstreet Park — aka The Whale — where we will discuss and field questions on climate change from the public and media.

  • Rally for Alaska’s Climate

    We will be hosting a Rally for Alaska’s Climate on Friday, Feb. 3, at noon at the Dimond Courthouse Plaza, to show our legislators that we as Alaskans are demanding responsible climate action be taken this year!
