Cleaner fuel is essential to our future

by Grant EchoHawk | Jan 2, 2026 | Blog, Cleaner Fuel, Featured, Inside Passage

Elsewhere the leaves are beginning to turn Autumn colors before they fall to the earth but, here in Southeast Alaska, we still get to enjoy the lush greens of the cedar, hemlock, spruce, and pine trees. We can still see the occasional otter or seal pop its head up out...

We acknowledge the Lingit, Haida and Tsimshian peoples whose traditional way of life and spiritual existence grew from the forest and waters of this land long before recorded time. We are grateful for their deep knowledge as continuing caretakers, and on whose land we do our work and live our lives.
