DESCRIPTION:SEACC invites you to our new monthly Climate Conversations series to help you stay up-to-date and engaged on the latest climate change developments in the Biden administration and in Senator Murkowski’s office! \nOur first Climate Conversation will be Thursday\, Jan. 28 at 5:30 p.m. Alaska Time\, and is focusing on Biden’s ambitious “30 by 30” plan to permanently protect 30% of U.S. lands and waters by 2030. \nWild landscapes are critical to sequestering carbon and mitigating the worst effects of climate change\, and SEACC believes those closest to the land — Indigenous people\, commercial fishermen and local communities — know best how to protect those lands and must be centered in the 30 by 30 process. \nRSVP below to learn more about Biden’s 30 by 30 plan and how you can make sure it works for all Alaskans!
