Support Alaska's ferry system

Alaska DOT is updating its Southeast Alaska Transportation Plan, and the ferry system needs your support to keep from drifting to the back of the plan.  Please submit your comments by July 31, 2009!

The Alaska court said ferries are a "first obvious alternative" to the Juneau Road, and we agree.  Even road supporters agree that the ferry system is integral to Southeast's vitality and economic health.

Please encourage Governor Palin and the Alaska Legislature to support funding for the new Alaska-class ferries.  And thank Senators Murkowski and Begich for seeking federal funding for ferries.
