Appeal of Greens Creek Tailings Disposal ROD and FEIS, 12.29.2003

SEACC appealed the Forest Service Record of Decision and Final Environmental Impact Statement related to a tailings disposal expansion requested by Greens Creek Mine. Our appeal describes, in our opinion, the Forest Service failed to ensure that approved mining activities are compatible with protection of Admiralty Island National Monument values, and violated NEPA, NHPA, and the NFMA.
