Specific Programs and Projects
In Southeast Alaska, the Tongass National Forest is a part of most everyone's daily life. So protections have to include local people and consider how they use the forest.
SEACC's strength has always been its strong relationships with people who live, work and play in the forests. Our special programs and projects reflect that human connection as we share what we love about the forest and how we envision balanced, mutually beneficial ways to manage the forest for both the wild life and wild places in the forest and for the people who depend on them.
